The Future Must Be Human

It is time for us to write a new story on AI development.

AI corporations are racing to build machines that replace people. They are betting they can replace our jobs, replace our social communities, replace our power and ultimately, replace us. That means mass unemployment, manipulative chatbots, human social life degraded, power concentrated in the hands of a few people, and even the risk of extinction.

But this inhuman future is not yet written - the future can, indeed must, be human, and it is up to us to ensure it is. We're bringing together neighbors, leaders, and everyday people to learn what's happening, prepare our communities, and make sure we have a say in what happens.
